Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunction is a common condition that can present with jaw pain, headaches, facial tension, clicking, locking, restricted jaw movement, and associated cervical discomfort. Because of the close relationship between the jaw, cervical spine, posture, breathing patterns, and the nervous system, TMJ dysfunction often requires a broader clinical perspective than the jaw alone.

In this course, Roxanne Derkson RMT GCFP shares over three decades of clinical experience working with thousands of clients presenting with TMJ dysfunction and jaw related conditions.

Combining anatomy, assessment, manual therapy techniques, and functional movement principles, this course explores the TMJ as part of an integrated whole body system. Participants will develop practical skills for assessing and treating temporomandibular dysfunction while gaining a deeper understanding of the connections between jaw function, posture, breathing, cervical mechanics, and optimal musculoskeletal function.
