Pregnancy Massage – Clinical Applications
COURSE ACCESS AFTER PURCHASE HERE
Today’s prenatal care environment is also more collaborative, with clients often supported by midwives, doulas, and broader care teams. In addition, many individuals are choosing to have children later in life, which can introduce different clinical considerations during pregnancy and postpartum care.
This program explores the key stages of pregnancy and the common physical and functional changes that occur throughout each trimester and into the postpartum period.
It includes practical positioning strategies and structured treatment approaches designed to support safe and effective care at each stage.
The focus is on developing clinical confidence and consistency when working with pregnant clients, with the goal of improving treatment quality, safety, and long term client care outcomes.
This course is taught by Roxanne Derkson RMT GCFP, a Registered Massage Therapist and Feldenkrais Practitioner with nearly four decades of experience in massage therapy, movement education, and functional rehabilitation.
